I was recently accepted into this prestigious fellowship at the University of Kansas Medicine. I’m happy to share my community-building experiences with you. I am a senior in school and serve as a volunteer with the Berks Center for Digestive Health (BCDH). BCDH is an all-volunteer research partnership that seeks to create better high-quality, low-cost integrated clinical care for people living with specific chronic disease or environmental health concerns. It is located in Lawrence and offers free health screenings, annual wellness exams, and screenings for people with potential for weight gain or obesity.
