For example, when you’re reading a book, you may have an opinion about a subject, but it’s almost impossible to get your head around the way you perceive the world around you. The same is true when you’re reading a news story.

You could argue that we should be also taking care of our emotional brains, but I personally think that only the body needs taking care of. Even if we are emotionally brain dead, our bodies are still alive. Also, if you are really serious about taking care of your physical, skeletal, and digestive systems, you should probably also care of your emotional brains. That way you will be able to take care of your emotional brain in the future.
